Battlefield in a Box: Italian Vineyards

Arrived, at my doorstep all the way from England, has the Battlefield in a Box: Italian Vineyards box.
This box contains 8 Vineyard rows, 2 Vineyard Fields and 1 little bag with static gras.

The stuff looks great. Specially the Vineyard rows. The only thing left for me to do is to Enhance the Terrain with static grass.
One thing that is wrong is that 1 of the Vineyard Fields has less to no structure on it. Compare the 2 pictures below and you will see what i mean. I am not entirely sure if it has to be this way or if it is a defect. Don't know what I will do, or keep the field and give it a muddy look or send an email to Battlefront and ask for a replacement, if that is possible.

1 complete field

Thanks for looking.

  1. It looks like it would take perhaps 10-12 strokes of a drybrush to fix this defect. In fact, it would probably take longer to write the e-mail to customer service! If it were me, I'd do it myself rather than wait for a replacement.

  2. They look ok. I'm not too keen on the stripy vines, as I can't remember the last time I saw that at a vineyard. But that could be fixed by a quick wash and some drybrushing to blend the colours.

Don't sweat about the field - you could fix that yourself in a few minutes.

  3. They're quite nice even with the defect.....

  4. I'd make my own rather then use those, but that's not very helpful I suppose. I'd just fix the defect as it doesn't look to be that big of a difference and would also save you the hassle of customer service.

  5. Normally I won't buy this kind of scenery but in this case I like the look of it and it can only become better when I enhance the terrain with static grass and some quick wash and some drybrush. Maybe even add some fine sand.
What also made it easier for me to buy it was the fact that it was a bargain.
