Battlegroup: Panzer VI ausf. E1 Tiger.

Miniatures painted between August 2017 and end 2018 part 4.
The Panzer VI ausf E1 (zimmerit) Tiger. Battlefront 15mm resin and metal.
Painted this in one at the beginning of December 2018. It was the first miniature I painted after a long time. The first one after I layed down my brush's in February. The time that the dark clouds slowly started to fade away. Step by step the need to paint something came back again.
I didn't want to start with an infantry platoon so I first began with some German vehicles, starting with this tank. The infantry platoon will be painted later this year.

The Moloch Demons challenge.

A post between the miniatures painted between August 2017 and end 2018 posts.
When I looked through the many old Confrontation minis laying around collecting dust I decided to gave myself a challenge for this year: painting these 2 old Confrontation miniatures. Named Moloch demons.
Forget about the crappy quality of the pictures, they are just to show how the miniatures look. They are both already primed white.

These are, for me, pretty complex miniatures to paint. It will be a daunting challenge.
First thing I have to do is to find out which colours to use. As they are demons one thing is sure it won't be nice light happy colours.
As said I like to have these miniatures finished before the end of the year. My intention is to paint them between other projects. Looking at all the other miniatures I have to paint I hope I will succeed in this project.
I will try to post as much WIP pictures as possible.

Battlegroup: Panzer V ausf. A Panther.

Miniatures painted between August 2017 and end 2018 part 3.
The Panzer V ausf. A or Panther. Battlefront 15mm resin and metal.
I finished painting these in February 2018. This time I spend more time on the details and camouflage. The camouflage is based on the Panzer Lehr Division I tried to get as close as possible. Hope I succeeded. I'm affraid that the base colour is not correct.
After these were painted I didn't touch any brush for a long time. Some months before I started to painted these I got some bad news, I had have another surgery. Sometime later I got the message that the surgery would take place in June 2018. This made me realize that thing's didn't matter anymore and didn't care much about the hobby. It took until December before I picked up a brush again.

Battlegroup: Panzer III ausf. G.

Miniatures painted between August 2017 and end 2018 part 2.
This is some sort of a painting Panzer III part 2. It is the sequel to the painted Panzer III ausf. F post.
This time it is the Panzer III ausf. G. Also 15mm plastic from Plastic Soldier Company. The minis are built from the same box as the Panzer III ausf. F. The built of these kits can be found here. They almost look the same as the Panzer III ausf. F.
The minis are for my DAK battlegroup and can be used with the Battlegroup Tobruk and Battlegroup Torch books.
Just as the PANZER III ausf. F I painted these between November 2017 and January 2018 and thus are painted in the same way as the others. They still look okay on the table.

Battlegroup: Panzer III ausf. F.

The first post of miniatures I painted between August 2017 and end 2018.
I begin with the Panzer III ausf. F. They are 15mm plastic from Plastic Soldier Company. The built of these kits can be found here.
The miniatures are for my DAK battlegroup and can be used with the Battlegroup Tobruk book.
After some searching I found out that I painted these between November 2017 and January 2018. I painted them very fast and quality could be better. At that time I wasn't in the mood to go full detail. But I think they still look okay on the table.

Next Panzer III ausf. G.
