Panzer III part 1: The built.

This is my very first box of the Plastic Soldier Company. A box of 15mm Panzer III F,G,H which I hopefully can use with the new Battlegroup book coming next spring.
As I never bought any of the Plastic Soldier Company models before I was very curious how they look and how easy it would be to assemble them. But before I started I first had to figure out which of the Panzer III ausf I want and how many. After some-thinking I decided to built 3 Panzer III ausf. G and 2 ausf. F. I can always order a reinforcement sprue to built an extra ausf. F.
Time to open the box.
The box.
Inside there are 5 sprue’s, 1 for each Panzer, and a leaflet with instructions. I was impressed how many parts 1 sprue contains and you need to built 1 Panzer. After a count I came to a total of 20+ parts for 1 Panzer. All I could think was something like Eeeep that's a lot of parts.
Let's start building. I decided to take the time when putting all things together to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.
The contents. 5 sprue.
First the turret. This wasn't very difficult. The only parts that took a closer look how to glue them to side were the escape-hatches.
An other thing was the copula. It didn't fit in the hole of the turret. So I had to file of some of the plastic to make it fit.
A minor complaint is that in the guns for the ausf. G is a little (casting?) hole that I have to fill up.
Turrets parts.
Assembling the running gear. Following the assembling leaflet these are easy to glue together. Only problem was too figuring out how to glue on the tracks. But after the first panzer this became very clear and the following panzers gave no problem. Minor complainant is that some of the tracks, when glued on the running gear, didn't fit together nicely. Leaving a little gap between the two pieces.
Parts for the tracks.
The hull. There is not much to say about this. These were very easy to glue together. The only piece I didn't glued on at this moment was the Hull MG. More about this later.
Hull parts.
All the pieces and glue them together. First I glued the running gear to the hull, not very difficult because the running gear can only be glued on one way. So you can't do it wrong.
The Hull MG is a whole other story. This was the hardest part off the whole built. It is a very small piece and it has to be glued in a little hole in the hull. Guess what they didn't fit. They were all to big. I very very carefully had to file off a little plastic to make it fit without breaking the Hull MG.
The assembled parts.
Last are some photos of the built Panzer III. I only have to add on some extra pieces to give them all some sort off own identity.
