De tanks are highlighted.
First highlighting is a dry-brush with the base color Vallejo 887 Brown Violet.
After that there was a second highlighting by dry-brushing using the color Vallejo 886 Green Grey.
Unfortunately because the models are still very shiny it is hard to see the highlighting.
After that it was time to paint all details, give them a thin layer of wash and highlight them if necessary.
Sorry for the somewhat crappy pictures i shall see if i can take some better one's.

All what is left to do now, before sealing them, is to add decals and give them a muddy look. And maybe do some touching up.
Thanks for looking and reading.
PS. Post #100. :)
Awesome work so far. I'm really digging the commander manning the MG. I really do like the Stuart tank. With the rumors comming out about the Normandy book, I think it would be cool to field a light tank company. Especially is you can field 2 sherman platoons as support. Heck, I would even be happy with M10 platoons. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love the models. I know that all other tanks can shoot then to pieces easily but i find these models so cool. I just wait and see but i know that i can use them with my Airborne and Tank Company in Normandy!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the new book(s).
Had a miner setback today. When i grabbed my decal sheets the did all stick together. I tried carefully to get them apart but it was to no use all the decals i needed the most are lost. I just have enough decals to add to 1 tank. A very sad person.
