Wych Raider

This was my first try of painting a big object.
Can't say i am very proud of it.

Conclusion for all painted Wyches
For that time when i just started painting it doesn't look too bad.
The bases could use some more detail than only green painted sand.

  1. Hi there Hein thanks for becoming a follower on my site if thats your first time you've done real well, I'd suggest that all you need to do is firstly keep painting the more you do the better we get the other thing is layering to get a better finish you start with a really dark shade of what you want to finish with three layers will give you a great finish. keep up the good work

  2. Hi Galpy,
Thanks for looking and your comment. I started following you because of your painted Napoleonic minis. I do like them. Maybe i will paint a few of those in the future just for fun.
I must say, and this is not clear in the posting, that i painted the raider and all other GW mini's 12-15 years ago. I started painting and playing games on an older age then most other people do.
I was slowly improving on my painting. That was till some years ago. I suddenly, because of medical reasons, had to take medication. Since then my concentration and my hand-coordination (trembling) is gone. Now i am glad i can paint up to a tabletop standard.
Now a days i mostly paint 15mm Flames of War minis. http://av-priest.blogspot.com/
Soon i will post here some more pictures of my older work.
