My first built terrain for FoW.

I made a piece of terrain for FoW. Never build many terrain only some trees glued to flocked cardboard. So this, although looking simple, was a challenge for me.

  1. Very nice stuff! Is the field coconut mat? I can't find that stuff anywhere for the life of me! When I look online all I can find are door mats and the like. Any suggestions where to find it?

Anyway an answer to your question. It is coconut mat.I was in the lucky circumstances that my father is rebuilding a coach and that he needed coconut mat for it. I could have the left overs.
Where he bought the mat i don't know. Sorry. Maybe you can try a store where they sell floor covering or carpets.

  5. Nice field but umm...how does one get into the field? The fence seems to completely enclose it with no gate.

  6. Thanks Andrew. It is hard to see on the pictures but on 1 side the fence has a little section that looks like an enclosed gate. It looks different than the standard fence.

  7. Nice look there AV really fit's.

Only thing it lacks is the tractor marks as it's to do with how the crop grows and such.
